A Sydney institution, this small bakery across the street from the Powerhouse Museum is the supplier of the famous Harry’s Café de Wheels pie cart. Hannah’s specializes in beef pies, an Australian tradition, and it turns out the traditional pie with a variety of savory toppings, including mushy peas and buttery mashed potatoes. Hannah’s signature pie is the Harry’s Tiger, a beef pie topped with mushy peas, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Seafood, chicken, and vegetable pies are also available. Hannah’s central location and popular offerings have garnered the bakery a following among local students and workers, as well as tourists.
