This consistently excellent restaurant is owned by Stephane Yves, a French-born Vietnamese chef who returned to Hanoi almost 10 years ago and is adept at spiking French dishes with unexpected Vietnamese herbs and seasonings. The two-story former colonial villa that houses Green Tangerine was built in 1928, and its beautiful terrace has some of Hanoi’s best alfresco seating.
We loved: Rabbit in mustard with Vietnamese la lot leaf.
