You know what sort of food to expect when you pass through the Mexican Mission-style doors of Gabriela's in the upper West Side. Inside are bright green and yellow seats, adobe walls, terracotta flooring, and folk art such as Dia de los Muertos figurines. Gabriela's offers the typical Tex-Mex fare: fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, tacos, and chimichangas. Some signature dishes are the pollo Yucateco (rotisserie chicken marinated with Yucatan spices and served with Mexican rice refried beans, and mole poblano sauce), and the parillada mixta (pork ribs, Yucatan chicken, and chorizo served with corn tortillas.)
