Fuel Café
Located on the edge of the RiNo Art District, this restaurant emphasizes local organic ingredients, some of which are grown in an on-site garden. The dining room is decidedly urban, with gray brick walls, cement floors, exposed ceiling ducts, and garage doors that open onto a shaded outdoor patio. The lunch and dinner menus change frequently, with possible options including the Cuban sandwich with jalapeño-mustard sauce, and homemade gnocchi with wild mushroom ragoût. Also popular are the specialty cocktails and inventive desserts, which might include an apple galette with crème fraiche ice cream and pink-peppercorn caramel.
