Originally founded in the Art Deco District, the Frieze is named after the famous architectural element used in many buildings there. The shop is owned by the Warren family, who supervises the production of the company’s ice cream and sorbet flavors, made fresh daily. Flavor offerings run the gamut from the standard vanilla and chocolate to more unique creations like Grapenuts ‘n Raisins (made with the breakfast cereal) and Banana Wafer—banana ice cream mixed with vanilla wafers. The shop also sells ice cream cakes and pints of ice cream and sorbet.
