Located in a residential neighborhood, this restaurant serves California cuisine with global influences, many of them Moroccan. Housed in a large tent, the entrance is decked with grapevines, and indoors, a garden patio feel comes from orange lanterns and tiny white lights strung from tall ceilings. Among the appetizers are butternut squash doughnuts served with toasted walnut-madras curry dip, and entrees include a pecan-coated catfish as well as pumpkin and chickpea tagine (a North African stew of spiced meat and vegetables). The beer and wine list is focused on matching individual selections to each course of the menu, and on select nights there is live music.
