Elliott’s Oyster House
This landmark restaurant has been drawing both natives and tourists to Pier 56 since 1975. The oyster menu is updated twice daily, and the 21-foot-long oyster bar typically showcases 30 varieties of the bivalve, including the silver-dollar-sized Olympia, found only in the Pacific Northwest. Appetizers include the panko-breaded geoduck with remoulade sauce, while entrees include the wild-caught, Copper River coho baked on an alder plank. All seafood is sourced from sustainably managed fisheries and shellfish farms, with a focus on local suppliers. Wine hails from around the world, favoring local and New World.
