This tiny Mexican restaurant looks like a mini-Mission with archways and a curved bell wall above the entrance. A lemon-yellow sign perched on the roof has a drawing of a man sleeping under a large sombrero, making the restaurant easier to spot from the road. The small dining room is filled with colorful chairs and tables, and the kitchen serves a menu of traditional fare like enchiladas and menudo, as well as a more experimental burrito stuffed with a chile relleno and beans. The roasted jalapenos are a popular side dish, and desserts include flan and sopaipilla, sweet fried pastry dough.
