Located at the Maroma Mayan Riviera Resort, this beachfront restaurant fuses the Mediterranean tapas concept with authentic Maya and Creole flavors. The chef uses quintessential elements of Latin cuisine, like chilies and citrus, to create such menu items as shrimp empanadas with ancho-chile sauce, and brie fritters with sweet guava and arugula. The restaurant also serves a variety of Mexican and global wines to complement the tapas. Set beneath a high arched ceiling draped with fabric, the dining room has a wall of windows overlooking the sea, although the best views are found outside on the open-air terrace.
