A classic, consistent, tried and true parrilla that ranks among the city’s best. The simple, straightforward menu that lacks the flash and fluff of other Buenos Aires’ steakhouses focuses on thick cuts of fine Argentine beef, everything from rib-eye to ribs, which has made it a favorite of businessmen and diplomats, who fill the restaurant during the lunch rush and leave it quiet during the evenings. While the glassed-in, plant filled, two level Recoleta location opened in 1992, El Mirasol is part of a chain of five restaurants that date back to 1967.
