D'Sens
This Michelin-starred French restaurant at the 517-room Dusit Thani Hotel is the creative collaboration of brothers Jacques and Laurent Pourcel. Modeled after the Pourcels' acclaimed Montpelier restaurant, Le Jardin des Sens, D'Sens serves inventive cuisine against the dramatic backdrop of Bangkok's city skyline. The restaurant is perched on the hotel's rooftop, and its panoramic views of the city are particularly hypnotic at night. Chef Christian Ham's menu—recently revamped along with the updated Thai rococo decor—is known for its imaginative à la carte selections, such as grilled scallops with cereliac cannelloni, organic baby chicken with porcini-crusted potatoes; and glazed quail stuffed with duck foie gras.
