Ed Kenney and David Caldiero, the duo behind the hipster hangout Town, opened this neo-Med café inside the Hawai’i State Art Museum last year. It’s become the de facto canteen for power brokers and the artsy set.

We loved: Seared duck breast with kabocha squash and kumquat chutney; Manila clams in saffron broth.

Insider tip: The panini-salad combo from the ASAP! take-out counter is the best quick-food deal in town.
