A local favorite for modern British cuisine, The Grill is set in the historic Dorchester Hotel, a Mayfair landmark established in 1931. Beneath gilded ceilings and shaded chandeliers, patrons settle into high-backed tartan-upholstered chairs while taking in the surrounding murals of Scottish warriors. The stately atmosphere serves as a backdrop for wholesome, seasonal, and often organic fare from head chef Brian Hughson, previously of Michelin-rated Rhodes W1. Grilled Dover sole is the centerpiece of both the lunch and dinner menus, though the Rhug Estate rabbit and Dingly Dell pork saddle (served with Scotch egg) are popular as well.
