Located in an old train car, this Lakeview landmark serves greasy spoon specialties on paper plates 24 hours a day. Popular with the late night, post-bar crowd, the classic diner features counter seating, a jukebox, and chatty chefs wearing white paper hats who cook everything right in front of you. The sole menu is mounted on the wall, although many patrons arrive already prepared to order the signature Slinger: hash browns and grilled onions topped with two cheeseburger patties, two over easy eggs, and chili.
