DessertTruck, the popular West Village confectionary on wheels dreamed up by a former Le Cirque pastry chef and his Columbia Business School roommate, serves unique dessert combinations all hours of the night from a postal truck retrofitted with a gourmet pastry kitchen. Jerome Chang and Chris Chen bring upscale desserts to the masses from their truck parked nightly outside an NYU dorm. Inspired by bizarre snacks concocted in their shared apartment, the pair serves up crowd-pleasing combinations like warm chocolate bread pudding with bacon custard sauce and nutella-stuffed doughnuts.
