A fully rigged sailing vessel surrounded by a moat with live crocodiles serves as the centerpiece of this Buckhead landmark. Despite the potential for an over-the-top theme, Dante’s manages to create a marine-inspired setting that is both upscale and romantic. Divided into 13 levels, the restaurant is adorned with rare antiques such as clocks from the original Lloyd’s of London and hand-painted 18th-century glass. One lucky couple can even dine in a secluded antique English elevator. Live jazz fills the space as patrons enjoy fondue selections, from imported cheese to mandarin-style meats, paired with bottles from the encyclopedic wine list.
