Churrascos River Oaks
Thanks to a tagline that promises Churrascos is "further south than you have ever been before," patrons expect to find the best Latin American American food in Houston at Michael Cordúa's upscale restaurant, and it certainly delivers. The River Oaks location (there's also one in Westchase) features well-lit dining areas decorated with paintings by Fernando Botero, but the candle-lit tables of the garden patio offer more romantic ambience. Churrascos is known for its namesake, the famed Cordua Churrasco, a charcoal-grilled center-cut beef tenderloin steak, as well as Cordúa's signature plantain chips and chimichurri, served at every table.
