This small restaurant — painted in the bright yellow, green, and white of the Jamaican flag — specializes in Caribbean-style patties. The crispy pastries are stuffed with a mixture of allspice, black pepper, and a choice of seasoned ground beef, chicken, or cabbage and potatoes. The patties can be served with fluffy coco yeast bread to make a sandwich. There is also a small steam counter with different curries and jerk stews made from ingredients such as oxtail, pork, and fish. Though a few tables are available, most customers opt for takeout.
