Chez Papa Bistrot
The owners of Chez Papa Bistrot in Potrero Hill look to recreate their family dinners in Southern France with simple, classic French dishes. Red walls and chairs enliven the small bistro, while black and white photos grace the walls. The signature dish is mussels served with four choices of broth; the mariniere - garlic, parsley, and white wine - is especially popular. Another favorite choice is the pan-roasted red trout with braised cabbage, bacon, pearl onions, and lemon-tarragon beurre blanc.
