Siraselviler Caddesi leads to one of the trendiest neighborhoods of Cihangir, where much of Istanbul’s expatriate community lives. Many of them have started businesses like Changa. New Zealander and chef Peter Gordon has brought his Pacific background to this restaurant, creating fusion dishes like scallops wrapped in pastirma (beef prosciutto), grilled octopus with miso, and red mullet with pomegranate salsa. The 1903 Art Nouveau facade contrasts sharply with the modern Scandinavian interior design, complete with glass floor under which cooks operate.
