Caveau at the Mill
Part wine bar and part restaurant, Caveau is housed inside the red-brick Josephine Mill, which once produced grain for settlers in the early 19th century. Inside, hardwood floors, exposed brick walls (whitewashed in some places), and vintage wooden wine casks preserve the historic feel of the building, while the umbrella-shaded bistro tables on the patio provide a more casual environment. The main draw here is the extensive wine list, which emphasizes South African and European vintages, although the ever-changing food menu also impresses with international small plates like lamb samosas and local springbok pie.
