From its adjacent butcher shop, Café Rouge serves a variety of cured meats, fresh cuts, sausages, and pâtés. The menu changes fortnightly, but platters of house-made charcuterie and fresh oysters are always available. Other dishes may include a Caesar salad made with kale, garlic, and anchovies, or spit-roasted chicken with root vegetables, herbed biscuits, and homemade gravy. Seating includes a sidewalk patio with tables topped by red umbrellas, as well as the long bar and bare-topped tables in the brasserie-style dining room. The wine menu lists a number of organic, sustainable, and biodynamic vintages.
