Blue Ribbon Brooklyn
Beginning in a small corner restaurant in SoHo, this brainchild of brother-chefs Bruce and Eric Bromberg has expanded throughout the city including Brooklyn’s Park Slope, where signature fish and seafood dishes like smoked trout and paella mix with house specialties Maine lobster sashimi and chopped tuna belly. Equally popular are the large oyster and sushi bars and the extensive kids’ menu, which at a set $10 per dish, makes this branch particularly family friendly. However, the dim lighting, exposed brick, and dark wood furniture keep the ambiance very French bistro.
