Part of the international restaurant chain, Blue Elephant Bangkok is located inside a renovated colonial building and exudes an elegant, yet inviting feel with dark wood tables and crystal chandeliers. The menu is a blend of Royal Thai and Thai fusion cuisine with dishes prepared by native Thai chefs. Selections include traditional dishes, such as kaeng kai normai sod (red curry with chicken and bamboo shoots). The restaurant also sponsors a Thai cooking school, teaching participants how to select Thai ingredients and prepare traditional meals.
