Housed in a small, narrow building, this neighborhood bistro serves locally inspired French cuisine along with a selection of exclusively Sonoma wines. Quirky decorations like an antique bicycle wheel and asymmetrical stone vases add visual interest to the otherwise sparse dining room, which has polished concrete floors and white brick walls. Outside, a tiny front patio provides limited additional seating. The menu includes such specialties as chicken livers with caramelized onions, and Liberty Farms duck confit with brandy-soaked prunes and creamy polenta. For dessert, don’t miss the “Animal-style Sundae” with Tahitian-vanilla gelato and homemade espresso toffee.
