Bel & the Dragon
Thirty miles west of London, this modern British restaurant is located in one of the oldest public houses in the country, dating back to the 15th century. The renovated interior is bright and airy, with large skylights, hardwood floors, and chalkboard tables topped with white alliums in milk-bottle vases. An indoor fireplace warms the space during winter, while a secluded garden provides outdoor seating in warmer months. Created by Gordon Ramsay alum Ronnie Kimbugwe, the seasonal menu might include roasted suckling pig with crisp crackling and apple chutney, followed by a caramelized lemon tart with clotted cream and spiced berries.
