Aux Fins Gourmet
The frayed, yellowed menu posted in the window of Aux Fins Gourmet hints at the long history of this classic French bistro, located in the Seventh Arrondissement. The high ceilings, pale yellow walls, white tablecloths, and well-dressed servers have changed little in the bistro’s 50-plus years, and the restaurant maintains a loyal following of locals. Perfected over the decades, Aux Fins’s signature dishes include the cassoulet and the duck confit, served with thinly sliced potatoes fried in duck fat. Entrées are paired with selections from the comprehensive wine list and followed by complimentary sweets, such as sugar-coated citrus candies.
