Au Vin des Rues
Not far from the Montparnasse Cemetery in the 14th Arrondissement, Au Vin des Rues is hard to miss with its red exterior and awning. The Parisian brasserie is a neighborhood favorite serving daily specials and classic bistro dishes alongside a selection of wine that includes Beaujolais Nouveau options, as well as choices from Lyonnais and Loire Valley vineyards. Sample menu items include duck breast, ham-and-cornichon sandwiches, andouillette, chitterling sausage that’s cooked for 20 minutes, and steak tartare. And with options like tarte aux framboises and crème brûlée, saving room for dessert at Au Vin des Rues is a must.
