Unlike most Scottsdale restaurants, Atlas Bistro really does have a bring-your-own bottle of wine policy. Why? Because this tiny bistro sits right next door to AZ Wine Company, which carries more than 2,000 bottles. Outside, Atlas looks like any other pink-stucco strip mall restaurant, but the inside has a Euro-bistro vibe with small tables and white tablecloths. The New American cuisine is made even better with the chef’s insistence of picking produce from nearby organic farms and using sustainable sources for proteins, including the house-made charcuterie. Menus change frequently to feature seasonal dishes like pheasant breast roulade with rye gnocchi and bacon cabbage.
