Assiette, the French term for "plate," serves French-inspired cuisine. The menu is arranged in groups of five entrées, five mains, and five desserts, with offerings changing quarterly. Menu selections may include dishes such as a hapuka fish filet with crab and watercress risotto, and lamb with Jerusalem artichoke purée, pearl barley, and green olives. The simple interior consists of dark wood tables with light linens, white walls, and large, black and white photographs.
