Luk Yu Teahouse

24 Stanley St.
Hong Kong , China
852-2523-5464

The spirit of old Hong Kong is brought to life in this teahouse that's known as much for its dim sum as for tea. Visistor take a step back into the 1930’s in this Art Deco central district spot: marble tables, wood booths, stained glass, and paneling surround fill the space. Traditional Chinese teas include lung ching green tea and bo lai black tea. If the tea stirs a hunger, an English menu outlining the dim sum options is available with items like garoupa pie and lotus leaf-wrapped meat and rice.

From the From the May 2008 Food & Wine Go List

Since the 1930s, Luk Yu Teahouse has been serving some of Hong Kong’s best dim sum. The old-school atmosphere in the dining room extends from the stained-glass windows to the marble tables and noisy crowds.
