Chef-owner Tony Nicolini built a following at his last restaurant, <strong>Pizza Espresso</strong>, for his authentic thin-crust pies and less-is-more approach to toppings. His new, hectic pizza joint on the ground floor of a small Victorian building in Melbourne's Little Italy has a primarily Italian-DOC wine list (Australian bottlings from Italian varietals are included) and also serves terrific antipasti and simple appetizers that highlight imported Italian ingredients.
We loved: Pizza Cicoria (with chicory, Piave cheese and lemon).
