Known for its steamed Chinese pork buns, noodle bowls, and "hairy crabs" (a delicacy in season during the fall), 50 Ban is a no-frills, street food lunch and dinner spot in the former geisha district of Tokyo (now considered the French neighborhood). Sit on one of the floor cushions at a low table or make an order to go. 50 Ban features some rare varieties of buns and dumplings, including scallop and shrimp, as well as dessert buns filled with custard or bean paste.
