SERVINGS: Makes 1 Drink

This drink was inspired by one called Night Flight in the 1947 Bartender's Guide by Trader Vic. That recipe combined fresh lime juice, maple syrup and rhum agricole. Mixologist Richard Boccato added Cognac, an orange wedge and cinnamon.

Ice
1 ounce aged rhum agricole
1 ounce cognac
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce pure maple syrup
1 orange wedge
Pinch of cinnamon, for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the rhum agricole, cognac, lime juice, maple syrup and orange wedge and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the cinnamon.
