This restaurant in an early-19th-century Harvard theatrical club serves an exceptional (if untraditional) whiskey sour lightly sweetened with fresh orange juice.

Ingredients

  • Ingredients
    1. Ice
    2. 2 ounces Canadian whisky
    3. 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
    4. 1/2 ounce fresh orange juice
    5. 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
    6. 1 tablespoon pasteurized egg white (optional)
    7. 1 orange wheel
    8. 1 maraschino cherry

Directions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the whisky, citrus juices, Simple Syrup and egg white and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with the orange wheel and cherry.
