How to Make a Boozy Watermelon Slushy


  • 8 to 10 mint leaves, plus 1 large mint sprig for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar
  • 1/4 ounce chilled club soda
  • Ice
  • 2 1/2 ounces bourbon
  • 2 teaspoons Frangelico
  • 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup

How to make this recipe

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves and turbinado sugar with the club soda. Add ice and the bourbon, Frangelico, pineapple juice and pure maple syrup and shake well. <a href="/articles/cocktail-basics-techniques#doublestraining">Double strain</a> into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the mint sprig.
