Carousel Bar New Orleans
This New Orleans classic was likely created in the 1930s by Walter Bergeron, who tended bar at the establishment that is today called the Carousel Bar.

- Ice
- 1 ounce Cognac
- 1 ounce rye
- 1 ounce dry vermouth
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes of Peychaud's bitters
- 1 teaspoon Bénédictine
- 1 lemon twist
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the twist. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with the twist.
