Like the underground classic Dreamy Dorini Smoking Martini, this pleasantly smoky drink is tailor-made for cigar lovers. The name mocks inflated cocktail prices across the country.

1/2 ounce Pernod
Ice
3 ounces gin
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
1/2 ounce Scotch, preferably Islay
1 lemon twist

Rinse a chilled martini glass with the Pernod, then pour it out. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add the gin, vermouth and Scotch. Stir well and strain into the prepared martini glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.
