- 2 1/2 ounces rye whiskey, preferably Wild Turkey Rye 101 proof
- 3/4 teaspoon St. Elizabeth allspice dram (rum-based allspice liqueur)
- 1 ounce chilled apple cider
- 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
- Two 6-inch strips of orange zest
- 2 ounces chilled ginger beer
How to make this recipe
In a cocktail shaker, combine the whiskey, allspice dram, cider, Simple Syrup and 1 of the orange zest strips. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well, then strain into a chilled ice-filled collins glass. Stir in the ginger beer and garnish with the remaining strip of orange zest.
