Thorn Rose Royal

Mixologist Ivy Mix came up with the idea for this cocktail when she made herself some jasmine green tea with ginger and lemon to soothe a cold. She uses her own jasmine tea-infused vodka and tops off the drink with rosé Champagne “to give it an extra sparkle.”

  • 1 thin quarter-size slice of fresh ginger
  • 3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 2 ounces Jasmine Tea-Infused Vodka
  • 1/2 teaspoon maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 ounces chilled rosé Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 lemon wheel, for garnish

How to make this recipe

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the ginger with the Simple Syrup. Add the infused vodka, maraschino liqueur and lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled ice-filled wineglass, top with the Champagne and garnish with the lemon wheel.
