When owner Donna Moodie was growing up in Jamaica, her father worked for Appleton Estate, which makes the rum she uses in this drink.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the lime wheel and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the lime wheel.
