Recipe: The Duke of Bedford
Ingredients
- 5 to 6 mint leaves, plus 1 mint sprig
- 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
- Ice cubes and Crushed ice
- 3 ounces manzanilla sherry
- 3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- 1 ounce chilled aranciata (Italian orange soda) or Orangina
- 1 cucumber wheel
- In a pint glass, muddle the mint leaves with the Simple Syrup. Add ice cubes and the sherry, bitters and aranciata. Stir well and strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with the mint sprig and cucumber wheel.
