The Crisp

Cocktail historians believe that this drink first appeared in the 1899 edition of Applegreen's Bar Book as the Crisp Cocktail.
- Ice
- 1 3/4 ounces gin, preferably Plymouth
- 1 3/4 ounces dry vermouth
- 2 dashes of orange bitters
- 1 lemon twist, for garnish
- Fill a pint glass with ice. Add the gin, vermouth and bitters and stir well. Strain the drink into a chilled coupe and garnish with the lemon twist.
