Hannah named this pleasantly bitter stirred-gin cocktail after a poet in Greek mythology who boasted that he could sing better than the Muses, challenged them to a contest and lost.

  1. Ice
  2. 2 ounces gin
  3. 1/2 ounce Cynar (bitter artichoke liqueur)
  4. 1/4 ounce ginger liqueur
  5. 1/4 ounce St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  6. 1 orange twist, for garnish
  1. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the garnish and stir well. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the orange twist.
