Bartender Jim Meehan, the deputy editor of the F&38;W 2007 Cocktail Guide, created this cocktail for "Taste of the Nation," a fundraiser that helps feed hungry children in the U.S.

  1. 4 blueberries
  2. 4 brandied cherries
  3. 1/2 cup ice
  4. 2 ounces silver tequila
  5. 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  6. 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur (bittersweet cherry liqueur)
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the berries and cherries. Add the ice, tequila, maraschino liqueur and lime juice. Shake well and pour into a rocks glass.
