Teddy Bear

  • FAST

Troy Sidle makes this drink with intensely smoky Bowmore Legend Scotch. To temper the smokiness, you can substitute a less peaty Scotch like Glenlivet.

  1. 3 blackberries, plus 3 blackberries skewered on a pick for garnish
  2. 1/2 ounce Rich Simple Syrup
  3. 2 ounces Amaro CioCiaro
  4. 3/4 ounce single-malt Scotch
  5. 1/4 ounce cream sherry
  6. 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  7. Ice
  8. 3/4 ounce chilled club soda
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the 3 blackberries with the Rich Simple Syrup. Add the Amaro, Scotch, sherry and bitters, fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Fine-strain into a chilled ice-filled highball glass, stir in the club soda and garnish with the skewered blackberries.
