Troy Sidle makes this drink with intensely smoky Bowmore Legend Scotch. To temper the smokiness, you can substitute a less peaty Scotch like Glenlivet.

3 blackberries, plus 3 blackberries skewered on a pick for garnish
1/2 ounce Rich Simple Syrup
2 ounces Amaro CioCiaro
3/4 ounce single-malt Scotch
1/4 ounce cream sherry
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
3/4 ounce chilled club soda
How to Make It
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the 3 blackberries with the Rich Simple Syrup.
