Sweet Daikon and Carrot Salad
(Mou Sangchae)

Ingredients

  1. 1 small daikon (1 pound), peeled and cut into 3-inch matchsticks
  2. 1 medium carrot, cut into 3-inch matchsticks
  3. 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  4. 1 tablespoon sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
  6. Salt

Directions

  1. In a bowl, toss all of the ingredients and let stand for at least 30 minutes.
