Sugar Hill Punch

According to Wayne Collins, single-serve punches like this one are a specialty of the Caribbean. "Punch is so versatile, though, that any of them can be made as a single serving or in a large bowl."

cocktails Glassware Guide

  1. Ice
  2. 2 ounces amber rum
  3. 1/2 ounce apricot liqueur
  4. 2 ounces mango nectar or juice
  5. 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  6. 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  7. 4 basil leaves, torn, plus 1 basil sprig for garnish
  8. 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  9. 1 mango slice, for garnish
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the garnishes and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass and garnish with the mango slice and basil sprig.
