Strawberry Fields

Chef and Beatles fan Bryan Caswell loves fresh ingredients and anything with a licorice taste. For this drink, he muddles fresh strawberries with licorice-scented tarragon.

- 4 strawberries, 3 quartered
- 1/2 tarragon sprig
- 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
- Ice
- 2 ounces blanco tequila
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the quartered strawberries with the tarragon and Simple Syrup. Add ice and the tequila and lemon juice and shake well. Double strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the whole strawberry.
