Reviews for Spicy Sriracha Chicken Wings

Go back to recipe

Nom Nom Nom! This is a great recipe! I cut the recipe in thirds and fed two people and one small sampler person. No leftovers! I would still serve with celery and bleu cheese dip just as a palate refresher. Sadly, I had to omit the cilantro because we have a cilantro hater and it was still tasty. I baked the wings on a rack for an hour at 350 for an hour, flipping half way through. Only change I will make next time is to reduce the amount of butter, because it was a little too greasy on the very last of the wings. Thanks Michael for this great variation.

No ranch or blue cheese needed here! These are the first wings I have had that I don't have to drown in sauce. They take time but it is worth it. I have never had any left overs, infact we can never make enough.

Very delicious. Tasted basically like hot wings except with the Thai flavor twist. I didn't fry, just baked at 450 degrees for 45 minutes flipping halfway through.

This is a MUST cook recipe.  Yes, it takes longer than your normal wing recipe, but it's worth it.  Plan ahead a bit, marinate the wings, and the rest is just a quick 30 minute roast and a quick fry - no big deal.  Following these steps produces a wing with flavor running throughout the meat coupled with a crispy outer skin that's drenched in a wonderfully delicious, spicy, and tangy sauce. They are excellent.  See a finished-product photo here: http://tarathefoodie.blogspot.com

A great recipe--a big hit with the guys!  I baked them instead of frying.

I quartered this recipe and it was perfect.  The heat is just right, and don't be shy with the lime juice and cilantro.  They add just the right touch to cut the heat a bit.  Also, I baked the wings for 90 minutes as suggested.  I baked them on a wire rack, so they were super crispy and not greasy.

Our favorite wings recipe. Try these and you'll not go back to Franks/Buffalo style again. The BEST wings recipe.

These are absolutely the BEST chicken wings I have ever had in my life. Perfect heat and so much flavor! I love you Michael Symon! My honey loved these... now I have to make them every week.

Unbelievable chicken wings! I love every kind but these were really amazing.  The spices and the sauce are delicious! Don't be afraid of the cinnamon. Also it was a bit to hot for me so I put more butter in my sauce. Hubby loved the heat though! Very good. Worth a try.

This is the type of food that makes me want to visit Cleveland and eat at Michael Symon's restaurants.

I made this while hosting a Green Bay Packer party and was a bit concerned the sauce would be too much heat for most.  The lime zest and lime juice really cut the straight sriracha nicely.  Even my wife, who does not appreciate Thai hot like I do, really enjoyed these.
